Gallery5 is partnering with the Richmond Moon Market for First Friday, Richmond’s premier event celebrating the arts! We’re closing the street and lining the block with local artists and vendors for a spectacular outdoor, night market and block party in historic Jackson Ward and featuring , local artists and vendors, food trucks, performers, and more. We love original, unique and unexpected creators. We want to build inclusive community, support local makers, and create space for learning and solidarity. No jerks allowed.
Carnival of 5 Fires!
This annual Richmond tradition is the proper kickoff to Autumn and Halloween/Samhain "spooky season". Join us at Gallery5 from 5-11pm for Richmond Arts District's RVA First Fridays in Historic Jackson Ward for a night of visual and performing art, live music, DJs, circus arts, belly dancing, tarot reading, vendors, and YOU! Party Liberation Foundation (PLF) will be joining us outside for a fire performance-filled Pyro Circus complete with DJs and special acts. Richmond Moon Market will have two blocks of local maker vendor tents! We strongly encourage everyone to dress up in whatever costuming and creative attire that you so desire!
